What the evening looks like.

Lines off at 3 PM. The captain anchors where the evening current sweeps bait past the sandbar, the mate chums a slick, and cut bait goes out on heavy circle-hook leaders. Then you wait with the sun dropping — until a reel starts screaming line.

Blacktips jump. Spinners spin. The mate wires the leader, the shark comes boatside for photos, and the hook backs out for a clean release. Everything swims away; nothing comes over the rail. Back at the dock by 8, right as the harbor lights come on.

What's included

  • Licensed captain and mate
  • Heavy shark tackle and chum
  • Circle hooks — clean releases only
  • Boatside photos with your catch
  • Cooler space and bottled water

Release done right.

Sharks stay in the water, always. The crew uses non-stainless circle hooks that corrode out if a line ever parts, keeps fight times short, and revives every fish boatside before letting go. It is sport fishing the sharks survive.

This is the trip bachelor parties book and the trip couples book for date night. Kids 10 and up are welcome; the fights are heavy but the mate does the hard parts with them.

“A blacktip on the line right as the sun went down. Jenna released it next to the boat. Best date we've had in years.”
